Les admirer, les côtoyer, vivre avec, sentir leur présence, ne plus pouvoir imaginer ce lieu sans elles, sans ces oeuvres qui, à leur juste place, apportent du sens, du vrai, du beau.

Elles impressionnent, murmurent, questionnent ou invitent à la contemplation. Elles se répondent, jouent entres elles pour former, tout naturellement, une collection. 

En parfait accord avec le lieu pour lequel elles ont été choisies avec soin, ou même, créées sur mesure, ces oeuvres font leur place, se laissent apprivoiser pour finalement apparaitre comme ... une évidence.

The obvious..

To be able to admire, to touch and to live surrounded by them to the extent of not being able to picture the space without them. Without these unique artworks which bring so much meaning, truth and beauty to the spaces they have been so rightly placed in.

They impress us, whisper to us, question our thoughts or invite us to contemplation. They respond to each other to organically form a collection.

In perfect harmony with the space for which they were carefully chosen for, or even bespoke created, these works find their home, blend in to bring out the best of the space and appear as if it were… obvious.

Biographie duCygne

Après diverses expériences dans l'univers de l'art contemporain _ production d'expositions dans un centre d'expérimentations artistiques à Nice, développement de galeries d'art parisiennes, commissariat d'expositions_ et 4 années de collaboration avec les célèbres architectes d'intérieur Gilles & Boissier, Olivia Peters-Desteract fonde duCygne pour vous accompagner avec passion et professionnalisme dans la constitution de collections d'art sur mesure.

duCygne BIOGRAPHY

Olivia Peters-Desteract has several years of experience in various fields of contemporary art. Her experiences include working at the Artistic Experimentation Centre of Nice and various Parisian art galleries. She has also curated several exhibitions and spent many productive years working for Gilles & Boissier (a leading interior design company in France). Olivia established duCygne to assist her clients with passion and professionalism in setting up their art collections.
